Liquidation Partners
Liquidation Partners
With over 50 years of development and funding experience, we understand that needs change. We are here to evaluate your real estate portfolio and offer CASH for suitable properties. If you need funds for other life purposes, let us evaluate and provide a method for turning your holdings into CASH for your family or business.
Our joint venture partners bring a wealth of capital and valuation expertise to liquidation opportunities of ALL types -- not just real estate. For example, this support extends to funding for the liquidation of antique and vintage collections of ALL types. We will need a description of the items you wish to liquidate, along with appropriate provenance, proof of ownership, etc. In addition, we can assist with the probate of Estates & Successions throughout the country. What is YOUR specific need?
If you have questions about receiving CASH for your property, your antique and vintage collectibles, historical documents, guns, coins, currency, watches, jewelry or MANY other types of diverse collectables, we have interested partners standing by to help. The time often comes to change one's direction or focus. We can help and are ready to listen. All evaluations are free. All transactions are handled in a private, respectful and secure professional environment.
Lafitte Partners was established to service a need -- a prompt and PRIVATE method through which collectibles can be evaluated and turned into CASH. So many folks have accumulated an attic or garage full of antique "stuff." The thought of selling the items individually is daunting or has not been possible. Many have collected treasures in the hope they could be sold at retail, but those attempts have just not worked out as hoped. Our Team is interested in your antiques and vintage collectibles of ALL types and we have the resources to PAY CASH for them QUICKLY.
Our Team Partners are situated to move professionally and promptly to evaluate your collections of coins, currency, guns, watches, jewelry, antique documents and many other items or lots. We are not retail buyers but, resellers -- so our polite, respectful approach will be from a dealer's perspective. HOWEVER, if the time has come to consider other-than-retail disposition, WE ARE THERE.
If you have real estate or a collection you inherited or otherwise acquired and have decided to let it go, send us a detailed description and photos. We will route it to an interested Partner on our Team for evaluation and possible purchase. All evaluations are free AND PRIVATE. We understand how hard it can be to let some things go, so we will always respect you, your family, your property and your time. Let us know what you have!
Lafitte Partners is an affiliation of team members with both expertise and acquisition interest in diverse areas: real estate, guns, coins, currency, antiques of all types, historical documents, relics, jewelry, boats, cars -- the list goes on. We do not want to limit the breadth of our interest by attempting to supply a full list.
In our experience, we know that collectors end up with things they cannot use, never really wanted or need to liquidate. Or, maybe they inherited or "took in trade" some items which do not fit their current needs. Thus, they need to liquidate so they can fund other pursuits or service other business or family needs. Sometimes the collections are large and sometimes they are small -- maybe even a single item. We understand. It has happened in our lives also! We offer a service through which these items can be quickly turned into CASH.
We are not "retail buyers." We are not offering that type of purchase service. If you have something of value that you can sell on eBay or Craigslist or through the classified ads of your local paper, we encourage you to do so. THIS is the means through which you get top dollar for your items.
HOWEVER, as all collectors know, sometimes a retail sale will involve time that the seller just does not have!
If you have something of value you wish to liquidate more expeditiously, have seen one of our various ads or gotten our contact information otherwise, feel free to reach out to us. One of our Partners will answer promptly and discuss your situation in a respectful, private manner.
No matter why you have contacted us or what your item or collection may be, our acquisition approach-template remains the same:
1. Usually people have seen one of our ads and reach out to us by text or email with some general description of what they have -- along with a query as to whether or not we would be an interested buyer.
2. In response, we will ask for detailed descriptions and PHOTOS. We can take no further evaluation action or make any acquisition decisions until we have those descriptions and HD photographs. Please do not send blurry photographs or pictures in which the item's details cannot be seen. Those are not helpful!
3. Once we have those descriptions and photos in hand, one of our Partners will evaluate the item(s) and report back to you promptly. We will freely share our evaluations with you -- all at no charge. We will answer any questions you have as best we can -- again, at no charge.
4. At that point, we will share with you what we are willing to pay in cash AND what assumptions we are making to extend the offer. Again, we are NOT retail buyers. We pay dealer prices. For example, silver dollars are commonly offered to us. Most are raw (uncertified) and circulated. An American Morgan Dollar is 90% silver and 10% copper, containing 0.7734 ounces of silver. If silver is selling at $15/ounce, we will offer 70% of the melt silver-weight. That calculation is: $15 x .7734 = $11.60 and 70% of $11.60 = $8.12 Generally speaking, this is the evaluation methodology and THAT is what we will pay. (NOTE: Restrictions are in place for fluctuations in precious metal pricing. If there is a "spike" in precious metal pricing, for example, we will assess value at something below the "spike" -- usually 70% of the top -- in order to account for price volatility. )
5. This approach will be mirrored for other items of value.
6. Should the seller be interested in pursuing the sale, we will meet in a private but professional location and security will be present. (Often, this occurs at the offices of our attorneys. If not there, then in another location within which all parties feel safe and secure.)
7. At that meeting, the assumptions upon which the offer was made will be verified. In the Morgan example above, is the coin real or fake? Were the descriptions and photos accurate? Is the item actually as perceived in the photos or does close inspection reveal any new issues which must be taken into account? Non-destructive tests and inspections will be performed to be certain. Whenever things of value are involved, there are always fakes! We are only interested in authentic items, obviously.
8. In the case of real estate, title will be verified and a owner's title insurance policy purchased -- all at the seller's expense, although that can be folded into the purchase price. In the case of boats and cars, registrations and titles will be required. Sellers will have to verify identity before a Notary.
9. If everything is as represented, then a Bill of Sale (or other appropriate conveying instrument) will be drawn up and signed by all parties -- with a Notary, when required by law. Thereafter, the agreed upon amount will either be paid in cash or in any other mutually acceptable manner requested by the seller. NOTE: Some collections or items sell for sums which make the transfer of cash impractical. In those instances, certified funds will be tendered via cashier's check or otherwise, drawn upon a reputable institution acceptable to both parties.
All opportunities will be reviewed PROMPTLY so that the proper contributing partners can be suggested, evaluations completed & meetings scheduled to deliver agreed upon funding.
